Specialized Transportation Grants

Trip chaining

_____________________________ Goals:
Provide transportation alternatives to individuals involving commutes to work, work activities, education and training opportunities.

TMACOG Will:
Provide greater access to those areas not served by public transit in Lucas and Wood counties by working with existing transit operators.

  • Respond to the transportation needs of the Ohio Works First Program and low income population.
  • Promote Share A Ride and vanpooling opportunities including the Guarantee Ride Home Program.
  • Improve transportation to the elderly and disabled population through the administration of FTA Section 5310 (Specialized Transportation) grant funds
