Mission Statement
To achieve a sustainable and seamless intermodal transportation system, we will be both the recognized regional convener of all transportation stakeholders within the region and one of the stakeholders that has a role in providing transportation services.

in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

TMACOG is responsible for planning transportation projects that use federal money in this Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) area. The TMACOG MPO includes Lucas and Wood counties in Ohio, the three southern townships of Monroe County, Michigan - Bedford, Erie, and Whiteford - and the city of Luna Pier. While our financial responsibility is within these boundaries, the reach of our projects is much broader. Our region is part of a transportation network that moves goods and people nationally and internationally.

Your participation and that of the entire community is essential as we continue to develop our transportation network. Our goal is a sustainable system that serves the population and business community through multiple modes: highways, rail, public transit, bikeways, air and seaports.
