New Center for Emergency Preparedness

Owens Community College held a grand opening in October for a new Training and Operations Center at their Center for Emergency Preparedness. The new training center is a 28,000-square-foot, 4-story-high structure that includes a virtual indoor training system for realistic virtual training scenarios. All facilities at the Center for Emergency Preparedness are designed to simulate man-made and natural disasters for training for first responders, first receivers, and allied professionals.

It was a fiery ribbon cutting at the grand opening of the new Training and Operations Center at the Owens Community College Center for Emergency Preparedness.
