Transportation Legislative Agenda

The Transportation Council of TMACOG and a coalition of partners have completed a document that spells out regional consensus on critical transportation issues. The 2010-2011 Transportation Legislative Agenda is a comprehensive document. It outlines area priorities for roadway, rail, air, water and bike and pedestrian transportation, as well as public transit, academic research, and our vision for a network of intermodal facilities. The agenda also addresses the serious problems of funding for maintenance and development.

The legislative agenda has been approved by the TMACOG Transportation Council. The next step is endorsement from the partners. When fully endorsed, the agenda will be presented to state and federal lawmakers as a reference tool for when decisions are made about legislation that will affect transportation in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
