Utility Management Training Session for Elected Officials
Local elected officials take on great responsibility with their offices, including providing safe drinking water to residents and operating sewerage systems to protect public health. TMACOG is partnering with the WSOS Great Lakes Rural Community Assistance Program (RCAP) to provide utility management training for the public officials of small communities. A training session is planned for Saturday, February 20, (snow date February 27) at Owens Community College. The workshop is targeted to city and village mayors, village clerks, members of council, and board of public affairs members.
The 2010 workshop will be conducted by Tom Fishbaugh with RCAP, former manager of the Sandusky County Sanitary Engineer’s Office and Administrator for the Village of Republic. Attendees will receive a training manual with extensive reference materials. For more information, please contact Kurt Erichsen 419.241.9155 ext.126, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
