Public Meeting – Wolf Creek Restoration Plan
The public is invited to review the draft plans for wetland design, stream restoration, and erosion control at the ditches and rivers entering the Maumee Bay State Park area. The plan is being designed to capture and treat bacteria that contaminate Lake Erie beaches at the park.

The plan is a draft presented for public input with questions about funding, easements or land acquisition, and details about implementation. The plan recommends wetland and stream corridor restoration projects that include several elements:
- Lower Berger Ditch stream restoration and erosion control
- Maumee Bay State Park terraced wetland system
- Oregon Wolf Creek Riparian Corridor — upstream area including the sedimentation ponds
- Oregon Wolf Creek Riparian Corridor — downstream area with expanded floodplains

Federal Stimulus Funds Fully Allocated
When federal stimulus funds in the form of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) were allocated to the TMACOG region over the last fiscal year, all planning which had been based on earlier financial outlooks had to be re-visited. Transportation Enhancement Applications Now Being Accepted
Project applications are now being accepted from eligible jurisdictions in Lucas and Wood counties for Trans-
portation Enhancement projects (including bikeway, scenic/environmental, and historic transportation enhancements). Project applications are due to TMACOG
no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday December 15, 2010.

Tools for Traffic Watching
In addition to the maps on the TMACOG website, people who are looking for information about road conditions in Ohio can also go to http://www.buckeyetraffic.com. This site, operated by ODOT, is updated as often as every two hours during winter weather events. It also shows road repairs, detours, and slowdowns. Information on the site comes from a variety of sources: pavement sensors, monitoring stations, and traffic cameras, as well as direct input from ODOT personnel and county road crews.
2010 Gas Cap Testing and Replacement Program
More than 11 percent of cars and trucks driving around in northwest Ohio are leaking gas into the atmosphere through leaky - or missing - gas caps. Village of Woodville
The Village of Woodville is located on the Portage River in Sandusky County. It is home to approximately 2,000 people. Like most communities in northwest Ohio, Woodville grew up around railroad tracks and the first roads paved through the Great Black Swamp. That main street - once called Old Mud Pike - is now U.S. 20. An estimated 12,000 vehicles per day travel through Woodville, with 30 percent being truck traffic.
