Wabash Trail Achievement Honored

During a visit to U.S. Representative Marcy Kaptur’s office in Toledo on March 7, Rhonda Border-Boose of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy presented a Project Award for the Wabash Cannonball Trail to Keith Earley, Lucas County Engineer, and Ron Myers, County Traffic Operations Engineer. They accepted the award on behalf of all the Wabash partners: the City of Maumee, Lucas County, Metroparks of the Toledo Area, Village of Whitehouse, City of Wauseon, and Northwestern Ohio Rails-to-Trails Association, Inc. Federal transportation funds, in conjunction with local funds and extensive volunteer work, supported the creation of this 63-mile multi-purpose trail in northwest Ohio.

Congresswoman Kaptur, Lucas County Engineer Keith Earley, County Traffic Operations Engineer Ron Myers, and Rhonda Border-Boose of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy.
