Changes to the Directory of Public Officials
In TMACOG’s on-going efforts to best serve its members, we are modifying the way we collect information for the annual Directory of Public Officials. In previous years we mailed requests for information and asked for updates to be mailed or faxed back. This year we are e-mailing requests to most of the 900+ individual entries in the directory and asking for electronic replies. This process, while more time-intensive on the front end, saves postage and printing costs and should eliminate some of the difficulty caused by handwritten information.
Please help us produce the 2013 Directory of Public Officials by responding promptly to the TMACOG request for information. Every year, members tell us that the directory is an important, useful benefit of membership. We want to make it as complete and accurate as we possibly can.
Elected officials and governments will receive e-mails from TMACOG in mid-December. We are asking that you return your updates no later than January 9. But why let it sit in your inbox? Send it back right away.
