H3O - A Story in 3 Parts - Water & Wastewater Management
Friday, February 8, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
at Owens Community College

H3O is one of a series of TMACOG Tech workshops building professional capacity in the managers of public utilities. Mayors, members of council, members of boards of public utilities, and personnel responsible for water or sewerage systems will benefit from this training. Major topics include:
• Where Energy Meets Water
• Find “Lost” Water, Find Money
• Best Practices for Setting Water and Sewer Rates

To register, contact Joy Minarcin at 419.241.9155 ext. 128. The cost is $15 for TMACOG members, $30 for non-members. The fee includes lunch and take-home training materials. Attendees can get Ohio EPA contact hours. Continuing professional development credits are available for professional engineers.

Ohio Sunshine Law Training
Friday, March 8, 9 a.m. – noon
at Owens Community College

All elected officials are required to attend – or designate an agent to attend – three hours of training on Ohio’s public records and open meetings laws during each elected term. The program is also open to the public. The seminar includes information on maintaining public records, advertising open meetings, and responding to requests for records. Training is provided by the Ohio Attorney General’s office at no charge at this TMACOG Tech session. Register here at the Attorney General’s webpages.
