TMACOG’s Stormwater Coalition has organized a workshop to provide Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) training.

The workshop will cover controlling water pollution from construction sites and meeting the requirements of EPA stormwater permits. CPESC training will benefit personnel responsible for construction site planning, design, engineering, and inspection. The optional exam for formal certification will be offered in the same location the following day: Wednesday, March 27. ODOT requires that Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans included in ODOT projects be designed by a Professional Engineer who is CPESC-certified.
Those taking the certification exam must first apply for approval and pay an application fee at www.cpesc.org by Friday, February 8. After approval is received, register for the training workshop and exam no later than March 14. Register by contacting Joy Minarcin at 419.241.9155 ext. 128.
The workshop fee (separate from the optional exam fee) is $95 for Stormwater Coalition members, sponsors, and sponsor members and $160 for non-members. The fee includes the CPESC training book and lunch.
