September 12 & 13, Kalahari
Convention Center, Sandusky

Registrations are being accepted until September 6 for the seventh annual Ohio Conference on Freight. Register here for immediate confirmation. Contact the Kalahari Center directly for room reservations: 855-875-7774.

The slate of keynote speakers includes world-wide logistics experts, policy makers, and financial experts. Learn about the speakers here. Keynote speakers and workshops at the 2013 conference will address the urgent concerns of the freight transportation and logistics industry.

Innovation is called for as freight producers, shippers, and receivers look for competitive advantages. Workshops at the conference will address how supply chains can grow into assets and how business and government can identify new public-private partnerships.

Rather than react to change, today’s successful freight professionals are looking ahead of the curve. Presentations will address site selection, adapting private enterprise to public planning, and anticipating the future of the burgeoning shale industry.

Regulation and the impact of changing regulations are a fact of business. Policy makers and business people will talk about the planned National Freight Network, the performance measures called for in MAP-21, and the tension between market forces and industry regulations.

New to this year’s conference is a speed networking hour and other more relaxed opportunities for participants to debrief and build new relationships. In previous years attendees have come from 15 or more states and Canadian provinces.

For any questions, contact Conference Director Christine Drennen at 419.241.9155 ext. 119.
