Christine Drennen, transportation public administration specialist, has added to her TMACOG responsibilities. She is now staff support for the Pedestrian & Bikeways Committee. She replaces Eric Kellstadt.

In her public administration role Ms. Drennen is committed to advancing regional cooperation. She develops and presents planning and policy-related information to public and private sector stakeholders. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, she led the preparation of the transportation legislative agenda. She serves as director of the statewide Ohio Conference on Freight and conducts other outreach initiatives including the Transportation Summit. Ms. Drennen is an avid runner and enjoys cycling on the region’s many multi-use trails.

She said, “Self-powered transportation is so critical. I’m looking forward to working with our stakeholders to develop safe pedestrian routes and bikeways that are useful for people of all ages and abilities.”

The Pedestrian & Bikeways Committee meets quarterly on the third Tuesday at 8 a.m. in the TMACOG Boardroom. Meetings are in January, April, July, and October. All committee meetings are open to the public. Each governmental member of TMACOG is invited and encouraged to nominate representatives to the committee. Representatives from public and private organizations and individuals with an interest in bicycle and pedestrian issues may request to be on the committee.
