Recognition for TMACOG Chair and Partners

Keith Earley, PE, PS, chair of TMACOG’s Transportation Council and the Lucas County Engineer, was named 2014 Northwest Ohio Engineer of the Year during National Engineers Week. Travis Rhoades, PE, of TMACOG member Mannik & Smith, was named Young Engineer of the Year.

The activities of Engineers Week in this region are coordinated by the Technical Society of Toledo, the Toledo Society of Professional Engineers, and the University of Toledo College of Engineering.

Keith Earley was appointed to the position of Lucas County Engineer in 2000 and has been elected four times since then. He has been involved with TMACOG for 15 years and chair of the Transportation Council since August, 2008.

Travis Rhoades, PE, graduated from the University of Toledo in 2004 and has been a full-time structural engineer with The Mannik & Smith Group since then. His area of specialty is bridge design and he has been involved with the Fort to Port project on US 24 and the SR 66 interchange in Defiance.
