Public Meeting Addresses TMACOG Planning Process

Every four years, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) hold a public meeting as part of the process to re-certify TMACOG’s compliance with federal regulations related to transportation planning. The public is invited to attend the 2016 meeting on Wednesday, January 20, noon – 1 p.m. in the Grand Lobby of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza.

David Gedeon, acting vice president of Transportation said, “TMACOG welcomes the opportunity to discuss our planning practices. A public meeting can show us ways to improve our services and better serve the transportation planning needs of the region.”

People who have comments on the transportation planning process in the TMACOG region are invited to express their views in person or in writing. People with disabilities who need assistance to attend or to comment should contact Jennifer Allen at 419.241.9155 ext. 107 by January 10. She is the staff member who can assist with special accommodation requests. Anyone unable to attend the meeting may submit comments by January 27 to either of the following.
