May is Bike Month

Join TMACOG members and partners in a celebration of spring and active transportation. Bike Month invites experienced cyclists and those who aspire to ride more often to join in some of the events in May. But before you ride, make sure your bike is roadworthy. Get an ABC Quick Check at one of these local shops.

With a little practice, you can make your bicycle an effective commuting tool. A basket or a backpack helps you run errands. Plan ahead and you can even commute to work or school on a bike. Save money on gas and repairs, improve fitness, and be part of your neighborhood in a new way when you travel on a bike.
• Learn about area multi-use paths, signed bike routes, and plans for the Chessie Circle   Trail in Lucas and Wood counties.
• Meet people who can help build your biking confidence by joining in a group ride or   taking a class.
