ToleGO Bikes are Ready to Roll

Downtown Toledo’s shared bike program is installed and available for use. The kickoff was October 16 at Middlegrounds Metropark. There is a mobile app that can be used to find the nearest bikes, hub locations, promotions, and more. Look for Social Bicycles (SoBi) mobile application for iOS or Android devices.

There are 17 hubs where bikes are stored and locked. The area ranges from the Amtrak/Greyhound station, to Locke Library on the East Side, to Government Center, to the Toledo Museum of Art.

To get access to a bike, sign up for a membership on the website. Options are $69/year, $15/month, or $3/30 minutes. Sponsoring organizations can offer their employees a discount rate.

Reservations include “hold time.” Used to keep a bike out of service for an hour while the rider is having lunch, for example. There is a $50 fee for locking the bike outside of the service area. See all the details on the website: or
