Thank You, Donna Seeber
Secretary and receptionist Donna Seeber, known for her entertaining and cheerful presence in the Transportation department and at the front office reception desk, has retired after a 25-year career with TMACOG. TMACOG members and the staff will miss her.
Donna had vital roles serving TMACOG members. She was the only administrative help for the Transportation department for more than a decade, in charge of minutes and agenda for all those committees and councils, formatting reports, and managing meetings. She has been at the reception desk since 2007.
For many years Donna also managed data entry and production of the annual Directory of Public Officials, an enormous job. Outside of assigned work duties, Donna has been the agency horticulturalist, nursing scores of potted plants around the office. She single-handedly kept alive a seven-foot ficus and a 50-pound aloe and those plants continue to prosper. Donna was the boss of holiday decorations that liven up the lobby for several weeks during the winter. She is also the only person who could operate the old cranky paper folder and regularly provided the staff with homemade fudge, pumpkin rolls and other tasty treats.
Donna is looking forward to spending more time with husband, Junior, working on her many creative projects, and babysitting great-granddaughter, Zerena.
