Summer Caucuses with State Lawmakers

Join peers and colleagues at the 2019 Summer Caucuses with State Lawmakers. Bring your questions for state lawmakers and for guest speaker Randy Gardner, Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Chancellor Gardner will attend the Schools, Colleges & Universities caucus and give brief remarks before the panel with state lawmakers. He’ll address educational issues that impact job training.

There is no cost to attend but registration is required by Friday, July 19.

Chancellor Randy Gardner, Ohio Dept. of Higher Education

Randy Gardner was appointed the 10th Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education in January 2019. As Chancellor, he oversees the state’s two-year and four-year higher education institutions and Ohio Technical Centers; provides policy guidance to the Governor and the Ohio General Assembly; and carries out state higher education policy.

Gardner previously served in the Ohio Senate for 13 years where education was one of his primary concerns.
