Solutions Summit, June 22, 2006

On June 22, 2006, the On the Move Task Force and "goal groups" presented their proposals for the On the Move: 2007-2035 Transportation Plan. (See summit agenda) They suggested projects, initiatives and policies aimed at addressing transportation needs in the region. (The list of needs came from public, government and institution input, plus data and analysis compiled by TMACOG staff.)

If you would like to comment on the proposed solutions, please see below. The next step (see flow chart) is to evaluate the proposed projects, initiatives, and policies against the Plan goals. A round of public meetings will be held in November 2006 to seek comment on the draft plan.

Caucus Results: After the presentations, various goal groups caucused to resolve differences between their recommendations. The summit attendees then discussed and approved the attached added and revised solutions.
