Purpose:
To increase and improve passenger rail transportation serving the region.
Activities:
The Passenger Rail Committee has developed the “TMACOG Plan” for a national
passenger rail system. The committee holds events each year to educate our leaders
and the public about the importance of this transportation mode. It supports efforts
to bring modern higher speed service to the Midwest, through such efforts as the
Ohio & Lake Erie Hub Study. Join the Passenger
Rail Committee: We are seeking additional members to work towards improved
rail service for the northwest Ohio/southeast Michigan region. For more information,
