Purpose:
The purpose of the Committee is to encourage and enable all
appropriate agencies within the TMACOG region to efficiently and
effectively secure and invest available federal transportation
funds to improve transportation facilities and services in this
district.
Activities: This
committee reviews funding requests for federal assistance in the
development and implementation of various transportation projects.
The four year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is updated
and published every two years.

Subcommittee:
Transportation Enhancement Committee
The Transportation Enhancement Committee
reviews and ranks enhancement projects in Lucas and Wood counties
for this federal funding program. It forwards its recommendations
to the TIP Committee. Eligible projects include bikeways, streetscaping,
and restoring historic transportation facilities. See the most

packet for details. a call for applications is usually scheduled
for every other year at the same time as a call for TIP project
applications. The Enhancement Committee meets quarterly as needed.
